Our Story
Proof that the best things take time
We met in 2004 at Cleveland Heights High School—Jazmyn was a freshman, Anthony a junior. We didn’t date then. We just knew of each other—liking posts, passing by.
Fast forward to 2020: one DM changed everything. We were both grown, childless, and ready for lasting love.
We had no plans to marry that weekend in Chicago. But when the memorial for Anthony’s grandfather aligned with Jazmyn’s trip, everything shifted.
We took full advantage of our stay in the Gold Cost—walking, shopping, eating, drinking, and celebrating St. Patrick’s Day.
It was such a perfect trip that in the early hours of St. Patrick’s Day, we decided to top our trip off with marriage. The next day, we said yes—with no audience and no fanfare. Just us.
Our vows were rooted in a prayer and a Bible verse that we were memorizing for Lent. That moment was everything the scripture promised: joy, peace, and the confidence to trust what we couldn’t yet see.
We got married on March 18, 2025. By March 30, we found out we were expecting. After trying for over 18 months, it wasn’t until we said yes that everything aligned. It felt like confirmation—His timing, His plan, and His hand over our next chapter.
